Have your next birthday party at the Weber-Blaess One Room School House!
The cost of a package is $100 for a 4 hour party. Package includes: old fashioned indoor/outdoor games and a posed group photo. Upgrades are available: $30 for a decorated cake or cookie, $5 for gift bags with old fashioned games, plus plates, napkins, and utensils. You may bring your own drinks, pizza, other snacks, and decorations. Facility includes a fenced in one acre yard, indoor restroom, microwave, refrigerator, and a sink. Supported by the efforts of the Saline Area Schools Historical Preservation Committee, the Weber-Blaess One-Room Schoolhouse was moved from Lodi Township to 520 Woodland Drive in the City of Saline on June 19, 2002. After extensive renovations it was dedicated on September 26, 2004.
The schoolhouse is used by elementary classes to re-create the experience of attending a one-room country school. The building is also available for meetings and other functions. Please Contact Us for more information.
The facility is handicap accessible and is fully heated throughout the year. A docent can be provided.

SASHPF Board

The MORSA board (see picture above) was in attendance in March to discuss the Michigan One-Room School Association annual conference on SATURDAY, MAY 16, at Woodland School and at the Weber-Blaess One-Room School here in Saline. The featured speaker will be Janice Stein, author of a book on the One-room schools of Huron County. The highlight of the conference will be a session on the history and renovation of the Weber-Blaess School which is an integral part of the Saline Area Schools.
